July's Waterfront Wednesday will feature: Brett Dennen, Lucius, and Kaleo

BRETT DENNEN, LUCIUS, AND KALEO WILL BE PERFORMING AT JULY'S WATERFRONT WEDNESDAY

YOUTHFUL WEST COAST SINGER/SONGWRITER BRETT DENNEN WILL BE HEADLINING ON WEDNESDAY, BUT DON'T MISS ANYONE IN THIS LINE-UP. DENNEN, WHO SOUNDS LIKE A CROSS BETWEEN NEIL YOUNG, TRACY CHAPMAN, AND TOM PETTYGAINED NOTARIATY WITHHIS 2006 RELEASE, “SO MUCH MORE,”. IN 2008 HIS “HOPE FOR THE HOPELESS” DIDN'T STRAY TOO FAR FROM THE SONGWRITER'S COMFORT ZONE.  IN 2011, DENNEN’S “LOVERBOY” WAS HIS BIGGEST DEPARTURE TO DATE: A DANCEABLE COLLECTION OF SONGS INFLUENCED BY THE ROAD AND RECORDED BY A STUDIO FILLED WITH FRIENDS AND IMPERFECT TAKES. “AFTER SEVERAL YEARS OF CONSISTENT RECORDING AND TOURING, SOME REAL TIME OFF WAS NECESSARY,” SAID DENNEN. “I BOUGHT A HOUSE IN THE MOUNTAINS AND RECONNECTED WITH MY ROOTS AS A SONGWRITER. I WALKED THROUGH THE HILLS, ENJOYING THE SOLITUDE, AND ONLY WROTE WHEN I WAS INSPIRED.” BRETT HAS ALWAYS FOUND INSPIRATION BEYOND HIS MUSIC AS WELL.

CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED FIVE-PIECE LUCIUS WILL BE PERFORMING SONGS OFF THEIR NEW ALBUM, GOOD GRIEF.  GOOD GRIEF CONTINUES TO RECEIVE CRITICAL ACCLAIM. OF THEIR MUSIC, NPR SAYS "JESS WOLFE AND HOLLY LAESSIG’S SOARING VOCALS MAKE A MASSIVE POP SOUND AND HINT AT NEW POSSIBILITIES FOR ONE OF OUR FAVORITE BANDS" WHILE THE THE NEW YORK TIMES CALLS THE ALBUM "ESPECIALLY GORGEOUS, MOVING…"

KALEO WAS RECENTLY NAMED BY ROLLING STONE AS ONE OF"10 NEW ARTISTS YOU NEED TO KNOW". HIS LAST SINGLE, "ALL THE PRETTY GIRLS", RECEIVED EARLY SUPPORT FROM SIRIUSXM’S THE SPECTRUM BEFORE PROVING A CROSS-PLATFORM SUCCESS WITH TOP 10 PLAY AT TRIPLE A RADIO OUTLETS NATIONWIDE, OVER 3.2 MILLION YOUTUBE VIEWS, AND SPOTIFY STREAMS WELL IN EXCESS OF 21 MILLION.

Kaleo will kick things off at 6 PM and Dennen will close things out around 9 PM
