Your Guide to Forecastle's Late Night Shows
July 15th
RJD2 with Jon Dose @ Belle of Louisville 11 PM
Philly's beat maker and producer RJD2 will be mixing it up on Belle of Louisville Friday night. You can expect to hear a lot from his most recent album, Dame Fortune, which features "Peace of What" a song that resonates with the recent events within the US. "When I hear people talk of peace in America, the discrepancy between our words and our actions can get fatiguing," RJD2 said about the song’s inspiration. "I was trying to reflect the experience of people I know, which often feels like ‘We're not ACTUALLY trying to do anything about this problem in our country.’"
An Evening with Dr. Dog @ Headliners 11 PM
Dr. Dog will be lighting up Headliners Friday night with their Tron inspired stage design and rootsy psychedelic sounds. If you cannot catch the Friday show, you can catch them on Saturday evening as they close out their 2016 tour on the Boom Stage.

Hippie Sabotage with Nawas @ Mercury Ballroom 11 PM
This duo has been blown up in the last year both for good and bad reasons. The two brothers, out of Sacramento, started making music in the late 2000's but in 2014 they gained worldwide notoriety when Ellie Goulding posted their remix for "Stay High". However, they made bigger headlines when they were involved in a scuffle with security at the Say What Festival, which resulted in them being escorted out mid-set.
